I am actually writing this on a Tablet PC! Literally
writing! I can't even begin to say how cool this is.
Unfortunately, because this unit (HP's Compaq TC1100) is beautifully made and performs to my expectations, it means that I now have a new expensive lust object. >sob<
The handwriting recognition is superb, the unit itself is extraordinarily well-built, the Wi-Fi reception is quite good, and the software available has some really neat features. Windows Journal rocks, and working on images in Photoshop, directly on the screen, is something you have to experience to believe. While it doesn't have the levels of pressure sensitivity their my (and Scott's) new Intuos tablet does, the 512 levels it
does have make for quite a nice user experience.
I could really get into this. Anyone need a tester or reviewer for Tablet PCs?
