I want to be a personal technology teacher. :) What's that? you say. I guess what I want to do is to teach people how to use technology to make their lives easier - everything from using timers to control appliances in the house, to using a PDA or a computer to manage your financial records. I want to show people how not to be afraid of technology and how you can control it, not have it control you.
I could probably live without my laptop, my mobile, or my Palm, but I don't want to
have to. Why should I, when they make my life so much easier? For that matter, I don't want to have to live without my little analog timer that switches my aquarium light on and off. Again, it makes my life easier. I don't have to worry about keeping the light on too long and having algae over-run my tank when I come back late (or not at all ;)) several days in a row.
I want to show other people that a little bit of money put in the right place can save you so much aggravation, time, and even money. Is there such a job? Can I create it? :)
